Applying for a Primary School place

Make a late application for your child to start primary school (reception year) or transfer from infant to junior or lower to middle school in September 2013.

Secondary School applications for 2013

Applying for a Secondary School place

Make a late application for your child to start secondary school (Year 7) or upper school (Year 9) or UTC (Year 10) in September 2013.

Secondary School allocations were made on 1st March 2013. Find out how to add your child's name to a waiting list or appeal.

We have a responsibility to provide education for children of statutory school age (5-16).

Children who need a school place during the school year rather than at the usual transfer time.

14th May 2013

Second round of allocations for primary school places

Late primary school applications will be processed from 14th May. Please note, this process can take up to 10 school days to complete. Parents will receive an offer of a school place in writing.

9th September 2013

Applications open for the September 2014 entry

Parents will be able to apply for primary and secondary school places for September 2014 from this date.
