Q: I can't remember my password, what should I do?
A: If you forget your password and wish to regain access to your online application, click on the 'forgotten password' link on the online application service homepage. You will need to enter your email address and your mothers maiden name (asked for on registration). Your password should then be sent to you via email. Some email providers may filter this email out so please check all mail boxes including 'junk' mail.

Q: I have amended my application, how can I be sure that this is the version you use?
A: If you amend your online application make sure you resubmit the application again when you are happy with it. If you fail to do this, your application is not 'live'. You will receive an email confirmation every time your resubmit your application. Retain these emails for future reference.
If you submit more than one application, either paper, online or both, the latest dated application will be considered.

Q: I have applied online but am worried that you have not received my application, what should I do?
A: You should receive a confirmation email after submitting your preferences. You can also print the summary page, which is displayed after submitting the application as proof of your application.
If you have not received your confirmation email please check your 'junk mail' folder as sometimes it will automatically be transferred here by some email providers.
If you still have not received it, it may be because you have typed your email address incorrectly, please
contact the admissions team.

Q: I have lost my UID – what should I do?
A: For transfers to secondary, upper, junior and middle school, if your child lives in Northamptonshire you will receive a personalised letter explaining how to use the online service. This letter will include a personal unique identification number (UID) for your child.
If you lose your UID please contact the admissions team. For security reasons they will not be able to give you the information over the phone but they can reproduce your original letter.
Alternatively you can use the online service without it by selecting 'No UID'. You will then need to enter your child's details manually.
For reception applications we do not issue UID codes as we do not necessarily hold information about your child currently. You will need to select 'No UID' when prompted and enter your child's details.
