Places can only be confirmed on a course once the enrolment process is complete and payment has been received.
Course Fees
- The fees quoted in the course lists include the tuition fee and a registration fee.
- In some cases there may be additional charges for materials.
- Registration with accredited bodies is not included.
Examination Fees
May be chargeable at a later date if required.
Remitted Fees
You may be eligible for a remitted fee if you receive Job Seekers Allowance (income based) or the work related activity element of ESA (Employment and Support Allowance).
- To claim a remitted fee you must provide evidence that you are in receipt of the benefit.
- This is limited to one course per term.
- Subsequent enrolments within one term, will need to be paid at full fee.
- Remitted fees are not available on some courses.

Refunds
If you withdraw from a course and inform us in writing at least 14 days before the course is due to start, you will be eligible for a refund of 50% of your course fee minus the £5 administration charge.

In very exceptional circumstances, such as illness, family issues or when you may not be able to complete the course, a discretionary refund may be offered, minus the £5 administration charge.
Cancellations
- If the course is cancelled by Adult Learning before the course start date, a full refund will be given.
- If the course is cancelled by Adult Learning before the planned end date, because of circumstances beyond our control, a partial refund will be given.
- All refunds include the registration fee.
