What is the Award?

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a registered charity and relies on the generous support of volunteers, operating authorities and businesses to meet its commitment to help all young people realise their full potential.

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) stated mission is to inspire, guide and support young people in their self-development and recognise their achievements. 

This is achieved through personal development programmes and the assessment and presentation of Awards.

We are the major operating authority of 'The Duke of Edinburgh's Award' for schools and Open DofE Groups in the county.

Who is it for?

It is open to all young people between the ages of 14 and 25 in Northamptonshire.

The Award is achievable by any young person who chooses to take up its challenge, regardless of ability, gender, background or location.
