A selection of articles from local newspapers has been indexed by Northamptonshire Libraries and Information Service since June 1999.The index is added to every week and includes items of local or historical interest and current affairs. A brief description of each article is included:
Several libraries hold copies of local newspapers dating from 1720 to the present. Most newspapers can only be viewed on microfilm and it is advisable to contact the relevant library and book a microfilm reader in advance of your visit. Indexes to some titles are available, please contact the relevant library for details.
