The Charter on Parish Partnerships is a framework for the relationships between parish and town councils and the district, borough and county councils.
- Migrant Welcome Packs
A Welcome Pack has been launched for everyone who lives in, works in or merely visits the county. Available in English, Polish, Slovakian and Lithuanian.
- Community Asset Transfer
This is the process whereby land or buildings from the County Council’s ownership are transferred into the stewardship and/or ownership of third sector/community organisations at below market value.
- External Funding Opportunities
External funding is money that has been awarded by a UK government department, National Lottery or Charitable Trust. It is provided for specific projects, programmes or initiatives.
Local Councils' conference - 16th June 2010
The county council sponsored the Local Councils’ Conference held at Towcester Racecourse on Wednesday 16th June 2010. The event included the unveiling of the Northamptonshire Councils’ Charter that had been developed in partnership with Northants CALC.
