What services should the council prioritise?
This year the council is asking county residents to have their say on what services the council should prioritise when budget planning for 2010/11. This is a new approach and begins budget consultation much earlier than in previous years. Already, over 1,100 or our residents have contributed to this process
The 2010-11 draft budget was presented to Cabinet on December 1st. The budget proposals are now open to an 8 week formal consultation process. The detailed budget and papers are available from the following link;

How can you have your say?
The budget simulator is one way that you can get directly involved in this process.

- via Spotlight: Report to the People 2009 which is going to every household in the county

The final budget for 2010-11 will be decided by Council on the 25th February 2010.
