National Adoption Week

Every year the British Association of Adoption and Fostering (BAAF) holds National Adoption Week to encourage more people to come forward and consider adoption.

For this year's National Adoption Week (31st October to 6th November), the county council is focusing on finding people who want to adopt older children and brothers and sisters.

The adoption team will be holding drop-in sessions for people interested in adopting older children and siblings.

  • 7th November - 12:30pm to 3pm
Brackley SureStart Centre, Brackley Library, Manor Road, Brackley, NN13 6AJ

  • 9th November - 7pm to 9pm
John Dryden House, The Lakes, Bedford Road, Northampton NN4 7YD

Adoption social workers and adoptive parents will be on-hand to answer any questions. The events are informal so just come along.

If you have any queries about the drop-in sessions please call 0300 126 1008.
