Adopting is a unique way to make a difference to a child or young person’s life.
There is a wide range of children waiting for adoptive families:
- there are a small number of babies and toddlers,
- many are of primary school age between five and ten years old,
- there are more boys than girls.
There are also:
- brothers and sisters who want to live together,
- black children or those of dual heritage who are looking for parents to reflect their own cultural background.
You will be giving a child or a young person:
- the opportunity to belong and be part of a stable family life,
- the ability to develop confidence in themselves,
- the best possible start in life.
It will be a challenging, rewarding and worthwhile experience.
