National eCAF Training

Training for National eCAF is being rolled out across the county area by area.  Your manager will tell you if you need to book.

  • Training takes half a day.
  • You will need to stay until the end of the course in order to get access to the system so it is important that you do not plan to leave early.
  • It is a legal requirement that you have an enhanced CRB check from your current employer.
  • In order to do training on National eCAF you need first to have undertaken CAF Training.

There will be some online learning to complete prior to the face to face training. We will send you details when your application is accepted.

Accreditation

Before you can be granted live access to National eCAF the organisation you work for will need to be accredited.

Accreditation involves having the appropriate policies and procedures in place to support the safe and secure use of the system, including IT security.  nationalecaf@northamptonshire.gov.uk

Please note as from 30th June, the majority of practitioners will have been trained on National eCAF, and training availability after this date will be greatly reduced.
