The Children and Young People’s Partnership (CYPP) was established as a result of the Children’s Act (2004), which places a duty on councils to promote co-operation between named partners to improve the well-being of children.
Having a Children and Young People's Partnership is no longer a statutory requirement. However, we feel that continuing with the Partnership will set up collectively what we want to achieve for children and young people.
