Northamptonshire’s Children and Young People’s Partnership consist of the following organisations / agencies:
- Local Authority
- Police
- Probation
- Voluntary Sector
In December 2008 the government published the 2020 Children and Young People’s Workforce Strategy. This is a long term strategy to create a children and young people’s workforce working collaboratively to raise the outcomes of our children and young people making Britain the best place to live. The government clearly set out the different sectors that have a part to play in improving children and young people’s life chances.
Here in Northamptonshire we have developed with our partners a Children and Young People’s Integrated Workforce Strategy. This strategy details how the workforce will be supported to achieve the vision and aspirations of Northamptonshire’s Children and Young People’s plan.
The Children & Young People Integrated Workforce Development Strategy is at present in its final draft stage and once partners have agreed this will be available for consultation on here or in the consultation section.
