We can work with childrens' centres across the county to introduce outdoor activities which young children and their families can do together.
We can bring activities for you to do at your centre, or why not organise an outing for your families to Everdon?
Forest School Programme
Everdon has developed a programme aimed at Children's Centres.
Our main Forest School site just outside Daventry is based on private land. It uses a small woodland which is completely surrounded by fencing and hedging which means the children have complete freedom to explore.
The children are provided with waterproof jackets and trousers so we are able to go out in different weathers.
We may also be able to work in other areas of the county subject to a suitable site, please contact us for details.
The programme involves:

Preparation |
- Liaison by Everdon staff to Children's Centre
- Visit by Children's Centre staff to Forest School site
- Introductory parent/carer information session to introduce Forest School concept and answer questions.

Information Pack |
- Comprehensive information pack provided including parental consent forms, medical information forms for children and staff and suggested clothing leaflet.
|
|
Programme |
- either morning 9:30am - 12 noon
- or afternoon 1:00 - 3:30pm session
|
|
Transport |
- Can be provided by minibus with child adjustable seat belts, please ask about costs
|
|
Numbers |
- Up to 14 children and 2 staff
|
