For children from 2 and a half years to 5 years 

The Everdon Experience offers an exciting and interesting way to introduce your children to nature and the environment. All the Experiences are led by experienced and qualified Rangers. 

Where can you take part?

The Centre is based in the village of Everdon, near Daventry. We use several sites within a short distance of the Centre but may also be able to come to a site near you. Please contact us for details of this.

When can you come?

We are open all year round so you can visit for a one off session or why not take part in our six week Forest School programme.

• Morning session 9.30am - 12 noon
• Afternoon session 1.00pm - 3.30pm.

What can you do?

You can choose from a variety of activities or we can design a programme specifically for you.

What do you need to bring?

• long sleeved top and long trousers (summer and winter)
• sun hat or warm hat
• coat
• jumper
• gloves and scarf in cold weather
• two pairs of socks in winter for additional warmth

We provide the children with protective clothing such as waterproof jackets and trousers and wellingtons, if needed, and any equipment for the activities. 

All you have to do is make sure that the children bring a snack and a change of clothes and ensure you have enough adults to maintain any required ratios for the safety of the children.

How much does it cost?

• £8.00 per child - for half day session.
• Minimum of 12 children charged for.
• Adults free on day visits only.
