University of Northampton

In partnership with the University of Northampton and Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership the Northamptonshire Growth Hub was launched.

It is an exciting initiative, and was one of the first in the country. The Northamptonshire Growth Hub provides a seamless referral to a comprehensive range of business support provided by trained and experienced business professionals working for local and national providers - all in one place.

Local Enterprise Partnerships 

Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) were formed by government in 2010, bringing together local authorities and the private sector to help promote local economic development, stimulate job creation and growth according to local priorities and needs.

Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership (NEP)

Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership (NEP) has produced the EU Structural Investment Plan and Strategic Economic Plan for the county.

Northamptonshire County Council has played a key role in the success of Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership. The council is the core funder and has been investing c.£2million per annum since its establishment to help assist key economic growth activities.

The Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce website contains a range of news, events and training opportunities for local business people.
