Reusing useful things can be far more sustainable and rewarding than throwing them into landfill. A wide variety of unwanted items that are in good condition such as furniture, electronic equipment and clothes can be given a new lease of life by donating them to a charity or individual.
Why throw good things away when someone else may be in desperate need of your old stuff?

Give Or Take Days
An excellent way to get Northamptonshire reusing is by organising a community reuse event. Give or Take days are a great way of getting local people to swap unwanted household items without having to leave the neighbourhood. Visitors can simply drop off any donations in the morning while in the afternoon, the doors will open for taking.
A special guide has been produced to help groups wishing to organise their own community reuse events.
