Household Waste Recycling Centres

The ten Household Waste Recycling Centres in Northamptonshire allow the public to bring waste materials to be recycled or disposed of.

Opening times

Check opening times before planning a visit as some of our sites are closed on selected week days.

What items do the centres accept?

See what you can recycle at our recycling centres.

Check to see if our reuse shops will take your item(s).

Restrictions

Check what restrictions and limits apply to how much waste you can bring as DIY waste disposal.

Vans

Vans are accepted at all Household Waste Recycling Centres subject to the above restrictions.

Trade waste

We accept trade waste at four sites. These are marked with a T below.

Any person who disposes of trade or commercial waste at a Northamptonshire HWRC, and has not declared it as commercial or trade waste, may be committing a criminal offence and could be prosecuted punishable with a fine of up to £20,000.

Webcam

Check our webcam to plan your journey and determine how busy the site is.

Note: You may be asked to fill out a Household Declaration form on arrival.

Please ask site staff for help if you have any difficulty accessing the waste facilities on site.
