The Slim Your Bin @ School Project is delivered by the Northamptonshire Waste Education Team based at County Hall in Northampton. The team is funded by the Northamptonshire Waste Partnership, a partnership of all seven district and borough councils and Northamptonshire County Council.
The team consists of four experienced staff members, including one fully qualified teacher, that offer schools, community groups and volunteer organisations, lessons in waste awareness and the '3Rs' (reduce, reuse and recycle).
New Website
The waste education team are excited to announce the launch of their new website. Teachers and community groups should visit the site to book sessions with the team and to investigate in-school recycling.
