The post is due for Easter start or earlier if possible. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged.  Please contact our Headteacher Chris Latimer: chris.latimer@grangeprimary.org.uk
Description:

An inspirational EYFS teacher, you’ll relish this opportunity to take the lead on improving provision, teaching and learning, inclusion and the learning environment throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage at our very special school.

The Grange Primary Academy has been a proud part of United Learning since 2013. We are on a journey of rapid improvement, gaining ‘Good’ grading against all indicators in our last Ofsted inspection (March 2015). United Learning provides full support to ensure that our journey continues successfully. Now with a new Head Teacher, we have the vision and the passion to provide all of our pupils with an excellent education, and to be a real safe haven for their growth.

As Early Years Foundation Stage Lead, you’ll be an integral member of a new leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to make the role your own, and to make a lasting change for the better in children’s lives. We are looking for a teacher to take over a lovely year 3 and 4 mixed aged class in our school while their current  teacher is off on her maternity leave.

We are happy for this to be either a job share with 2 part time positions or one full time teacher, and we are also happy for either NQT's or experienced teachers to apply.
    Description:
Wollaston Primary School is a large village school with well-behaved and well-mannered children taken mostly from the local village of Wollaston. The school is a  vibrant and exciting place to work. We pride ourselves in being creative and in making learning fun for our children, which has been highlighted in our last 2 consecutive Ofsted inspections where we were graded in both as Good.

Teachers' professional development is at the heart of our school and we strive to improve teaching and learning through supporting each other and working closely in a team. Due to this the successful candidate will be allocated a mentor from within the school for support.

PPA is taken weekly alongside the rest of the teachers in year 3 and 4, which ensures that support is given for all in planning and preparation of lessons. Teachers in the school are also allocated time out of class to lead either their subject or to improve areas for personal development.

Wollaston Primary School underwent a large expansion last year and the job on offer is for a class that is currently in one of the new classrooms with all new equipment.

We are about to begin a second expansion where another 3 classrooms are going to be created. This means that this temporary maternity role could potentially become a permanent role as the school grows.

It would be fabulous to meet with you if you are interested in this role. i can then explain a little more about this exciting opportunity and it will give you the opportuntiy to visit our wonderful school.
