Our new school will grow from an over-subscribed 1FE to 2FE over five years. This would represent a great opportunity for the right person to make a real difference for the schools and local community, and to help us to make a success of the move into the new school.

We’re a flourishing village federation of schools, and our long-standing head teacher, who is retiring, has had a very successful time leading the school over the past 11 years. The governors, staff, pupils and parents want to appoint a Headteacher with a proven record of leading a high achieving school.  Are you the inspirational and creative leader who can step up to this challenge?

? Has proven successful leadership skills in the primary phase

? Has the commitment and vision to articulate a shared vision for our school

? Is committed to excellence in teaching and learning and continued staff development;

? Has highly effective organisational, managerial, motivational and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead the delivery of the curriculum, ensuring it is accessible to all;

? Is a confident, approachable and persuasive leader who listens to, and values, the views of others

? Has the desire to encourage all children to achieve their full potential, through the setting of high expectations for achievement and behaviour;

? Has the skills to consolidate a strong team involving staff, parents, governors, children and the wider community;

? Is committed to the Christian ethos and values of our school.

We can offer you the opportunity

? To shape the future of a new expanding school

? To lead a team of excellent, hard-working and committed staff

? To work in co-operation with experienced governors

? To interact with delightfully, well behaved, enthusiastic children and supportive parents to be at the heart of an exciting, established, world-renowned community.

We welcome applications from experienced Head Teachers, or experienced Senior Leaders, who want to influence our development.

We are also offering negotiated assistance with relocation should this be required.

Visits to the schools are warmly welcomed so please make contact with our Bursar on 01327 857381 to arrange details. To receive an application pack and more information on our school click please email us on takingustothenextlevel@gmail.com.

To apply for this position please email an initial expression of interest to our Chair of Governors, Martin Hall, at the above email address, by Friday 31st July.  Applications are required by Monday, 7th September.
