Outdoor Environmental Activities for Schools and Groups

Our country parks offer excellent outdoor environmental activity sessions for all ages and abilities including

  • Playgroups
  • School groups (Nursery to 6th form)
  • Organisations such as youth clubs, out of school clubs, Scouts, Guides and Brownies
  • Adult and community organisations such as U3A, Northants 50+ Network, MIND, SERVE

The country parks' varied habitats - from wetlands to woodlands - are a wonderful teaching resource and our Education Ranger-led school activities have been developed with the National Curriculum in mind.

  • Habitats
  • World of Plants
  • Orienteering
  • Nature's recyclers/recycling
  • Bespoke packages can be arranged
  • For Youth groups, adult organisations and corporate teams we can offer

    • Basic Survival skills
    • Conservation activities

Each of our five Country Parks has it's own unique character but they all offer:

  • Toilets (including disabled)
  • Easy-Access Trails
  • Parking
  • Picnic area
  • A range of wildlife habitats
