Northamptonshire has over 3000 kilometres of public rights of way, forming over 4300 separate routes varying in length from just a few metres, to routes forming County Paths including the Nene Way, Macmillan Way, Knightley Way, and linking with other counties to form long distance routes such as the Midshires Way and the Hereward Way.
