Olympus specialist support for younger adults

Information on the type of specialist support services we can provide for younger adults aged between 18 and 65.

Whether you want to live safely and independently in your home, need a small amount of support to get you living independently or are moving back home after a period of reablement, we can help you to get where you want to be.

How we can support

  • assistance finding housing or accommodation
  • access to education, work or volunteering
  • help with appropriate support agencies
  • budgeting, banking and finance management
  • helping you with your personal care
  • help managing medication
  • support to manage your home such as shopping and other household duties
  • support during holidays
  • access to social activities

Responsive support

The first step is to listen to you and develop a tailored support programme that meets your needs. Specially trained carers will then provide help and support with anything you can't do, always working with you to maintain your independence.

If there is a change in the type of support you require in the future, we'll adapt the way we work with you to make sure you're getting the support you need.

Supported living

We have safe and friendly supported living with staff available 24-hours a day to provide support when and where needed, but most of all to allow you to live with as much or as little independence as you see fit.

We have two schemes that provide long-term accommodation, in addition to our reablement and transition services. The team also works closely with our assistive technology team to better inform the positive outcomes we aim to provide you with every single day.
