Northamptonshire's Adult Social Services provides the following:

High Individual Support Needs

Offers day services to support adults with a profound and multiple learning disability at Olympus House Northampton, Ashgrove House Rushden and Patrick Road Resource Centre Corby. Our in house stimulating and engaging sessions are designed to work with an individual around movement, independence, and health and wellbeing.

Physical Disability Service

Offers a wide range of activities for a personalised day service specifically for people with physical disabilities. The person-centred approach is varied and stimulating, with each individual having a bespoke programme arranged according to their needs, abilities and desires.

Specialist Support Service for Younger Adults

Whether a young person wants to live safely and independently in their home, need a small amount of support to get them living independently, or are moving back home after a period of reablement, Adult Social Services can help them to get where they want to be.

Learning, Independence, Volunteering, and Employment (LIVE)

For adults with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities in Northamptonshire, specifically designed to support and encourage customers to live independently, find paid employment, or volunteer in the community, opportunities include gardening etc.

Social and Leisure

The wellbeing hubs give people the opportunity to do these things and more. They are great places to make friends, learn new skills and have fun. A wide range of people use the activity and skills groups, including people with physical disabilities, people with learning disabilities and older people.

Short Breaks

Short breaks aim to benefit people with disabilities, complex health needs, and/or sensory impairments. They can be in various locations such as the family home, a carer's home, a residential setting, or as part of a plan to offer specialist additional support. The type of service and the allocated time depends on the needs of the customer and their family.

Employment and Disability Service (EADS)

EADS will talk to you about what sort of work you would like to do, help you to identify your strengths, and support you to find and apply for suitable jobs.

Shared Lives Scheme

Provides adults who have a range of complex needs with full-time, personalised support within the homes of professional carers.

This provider has been awarded a local authority contract to provide services for adults with learning disabilities.
