Deaf Hub is a not-for-profit organisation that provides a range of services and activities to benefit the D/deaf and hard of hearing communities, both in Northamptonshire and throughout the UK.

Deaf Hub provides instructed and non-instructed advocacy. They also provide statutory and non-statutory advocacy. They work with deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind people. They also have experience of working with people who have different communication needs.

Deaf Hub's advocates work:

  • Under the Mental Health Act 1983
  • Under the Mental Capacity Act 2005
  • Under the Care Act 2014 and the Health and Social Care Act 2012
  • In community settings (with children, older people, those with mental health conditions, and those with learning disabilities)

Deaf Hub also provides deaf awareness courses, British Sign Language (BSL) courses, and Continuous Professional Development (CPD). For more information, click here.
