Service description:

The Family Planning Association (FPA), started as a movement in the 1930s. It registered as a charity in the 1960s and become a company in 2019. The FPA was responsible for the first ever national awareness campaign about the right for people with learning disabilities to have fulfilling sexual relationships.

The new FPA adheres to its old values and its mission to provide gold-standard, accurate, unbiased, and up-to-date information on relationships, sex education, sexual and reproductive health, and postnatal health. Its website features advice and downloads for both professionals and parents.

Sexual Health Training From Lightley Consulting

A group of former FPA trainers are offering training for anyone working with people with learning disabilities, as well as some contraception training for nurses.
