The 'Strong Start' team is a group of qualified and experienced early years professionals contracted by Public Health who work closely with the Health Visiting and Infant Feeding teams across Northamptonshire to support families with babies and young children.
Traditional group baby, toddler and child sessions in libraries and other community venues around the County, have given way to a more virtual 1:1 support to parents through telephone,
digital and social media. Strong Start can help with everything from simply listening on a phone call, to providing advice and support with things like safe sleep, introducing children to solids, toilet training, child behaviour, child oral health, child safety and many more queries, using online resources.

- Safe sleep and sleep routines
- Introducing solids
- Toileting
- Behaviour linked to ages and stages
- School readiness
- Speech development
