The Sea Cadets is a national charity that offers opportunities to young people (both on and off the water) to help boost their confidence and self-belief.
The Rushden branch aims to inspire local youngsters to broaden their horizons, gain confidence, and develop skills for life. It delivers a broad range of fun and challenging activities, which are delivered by a highly motivated team of engaging volunteers. These activities are based on the customs and traditions of the Naval Service.
Special Educational Needs
The Rushden branch will do their best to accommodate children with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). The unit will take cadets on board, subject to the restrictions bounding the individual's personal safety (and the safety of others). Please speak to the Commanding Officer if your child (or young person) needs additional support.
