Service description:
Rushden Transport Museum is housed in the beautifully-restored Victorian Midland Railway Station, which once formed part of the Wellingborough to Higham Ferrers branch line. It displays a surprising collection of transport-related artefacts from the Rushden area, giving visitors a nostalgic glimpse into its past. The station is the base for the Rushden, Higham and Wellingborough Heritage Railway, which presently has ½ mile of track. It uses both steam and diesel locomotives, operating passenger trains at public events throughout the year. Please visit their website for more information.
