Service description:

Action Centres UK Ltd (ACUK) are committed to releasing the potential of young people. It uses activities to develop the physical, mental, and spiritual capacities of young people so that they can grow to full maturity as individuals. The organisation serves young people in Northampton and accross the UK.

ACUK's services consist of:

Northamptonshire Association of Youth Clubs (NAYC): ACUK's youth work association is based in Northampton and committed to supporting over 200 youth groups in the local area. It exists to help set up new groups, support existing youth groups, provide training for leaders, and resource them to provide a place where young people can discover their potential.

King’s Park Sports: ACUK's sports facilities serve people in the Northampton area, and also host large national sporting events that attract people from throughout the UK.

King’s Park Conference Centre: ACUK provides a residential facility to train and develop leaders - empowering them to lead the next generation.

Activity Centres: ACUK's activity centres (Pioneer in Kidderminster and Whitemoor Lakes in Lichfield) welcome youth groups, schools, charities, and faith groups from around the country. These residential centres give groups an opportunity to take the adventure of a lifetime whilst learning new skills, building relationships, and getting away to have plenty of fun.

Firm Foundations: ACUK's instructor training gap-year programme aims to equip young adults for the outdoor industry whilst developing them into well-rounded adults. ACUK's trainee instructors gain industry-standard qualifications and learn how to release the potential of young people.

The Northamptonshire Association of Youth Clubs is a registered charity (no. 803431).
