Service description:

Abington Library is a friendly, welcoming hub which has been at the heart of the community for the past 80 years. they provide a wealth of adult and children's books, resources, and events - as well as advice and information for all.

Opening Times:

​- ​Tuesday: 10am-2pm (volunteer run)
- ​Thursday: ​​9am-6pm
​- Friday: ​​9am-​​6pm
- ​1st Saturday of the Month: 10am-1pm​ (volunteer run)

Access:

  • 7 parking spaces plus 2 spaces for disabled drivers available.
  • Disabled public toilet with baby changing facilities.
  • Wheelchair accessible.

Children’s Centre Designation
This library is a designated children’s centre. It can host services such as parenting courses, family learning groups, early learning activities, and one-to-one family support. If you think you may benefit from these 'extra help' services, please speak to your health visitor, midwife, family support worker, or social worker.
