Service description:

Northamptonshire’s flagship library at the heart of the town has the Discover local history collection, the Business and IP Centre, a wonderful children’s library, registration services, and a wealth of books and information services that are accessible to all.

- Monday: 9am-6pm
- Tuesday: 9am-6pm
- Wednesday: 9am-6pm
- Thursday: 9am-6pm
- Friday: 9am-6pm
- Saturday: 9am-5pm

Access:

  • There are charged-for parking bays on Abington Street where the library entrance is located. The nearest public car park is behind the library in the Ridings. This offers short-stay (maximum 3 hours), charged-for parking.
  • Toilet for under 5s and parents. Baby changing facilities available.
  • Wheelchair accessible.

Children’s Centre Designation
This library is a designated children’s centre. It can host services such as parenting courses, family learning groups, early learning activities, and one-to-one family support. If you think you may benefit from these 'extra help' services, please speak to your health visitor, midwife, family support worker, or social worker.
