The Northamptonshire Eating Disorder Service is a countywide, psycholog-led, community/outpatient service. They offer assessment and interventions to adults with a diagnosed eating disorder. They work with people who are suffering from a wide range of eating disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or other similar eating, weight, and shape problems that have a strong emotional aspect to them.

They work with people who are suffering from a wide range of eating disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or other similar eating, weight, and shape problems that have a strong emotional aspect to them.
The team is made up of experienced specialist clinicians, including clinical and counselling psychologists, specialist nurses, and a dietician. Interventions include individual and group therapy, intensive home support, and (where required) carers' support.
Referrals should be made by a healthcare professional, such as a GP or a member of the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).
