Service description:

Keyways is the main way to search for social / affordable housing to rent from North Northamptonshire Council and the housing associations in the area. On occasion, low-cost home ownership properties for sale and private properties to rent may also be advertised on Keyways.

Available properties in Corby, East Northants, Kettering, and Wellingborough area are advertised each week on the Keyways website. A printed newsletter is available if you are vulnerable with no family/advocate support in place and cannot access Keyways by other means.

Property adverts on the Keyways website state whether priority will be given to applicants that have a specific mobility or disability need. You must state any requirements on your application. You may be asked to provide further information to support your application.

Social Rented Properties and Affordable Rented Properties
Properties provided by a borough council or a housing association.

Low-Cost Home Ownership (LCHO) Properties
Also known as ‘shared ownership’ or ‘shared equity’ properties, LCHOs help first time buyers, key workers, and social tenants purchase part of their home and start building their own equity.

Private Sector Properties
Approved properties from private landlords.
