Northampton Partnership Homes’ (NPH) Housing Support Team offer free advice and support to people needing help with managing their tenancy, including those in rent arrears.
The Housing Support Team provides support to people who have difficulties in managing their tenancy. They aim to assist tenants in maintaining a successful tenancy and living independently.
The Housing Support service is a non-statutory service and where appropriate referrals to statutory services will be made by the team. Support is client-led and tailored to individual needs and can include the coordination of other services. They work with any NPH tenant who has an eligible support need. Support officers can help with a variety of support needs including:
• Accessing mental health support
• Care leavers
• Vulnerable young people
• Victims of domestic abuse
• Learning disabilities
• Drug issues
• Alcohol issues
• Older people
• Anti-social behaviour
• Hoarding
• Ex-offenders
The Housing Support Service is free-of-charge for all NPH tenants. It is a fully accredited support service and recognised as an ‘Outstanding Provider.'
