Bedford College is a further education (FE) college that offers a wide range of full-time and part-time courses, undergraduate study, and apprenticeships.

The college offers a dedicated Foundation Skills Programme for young people with identified learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

Additional Learning Support

If you have an identified learning difficulty and/or disability, the Additional Support team will provide support and give you the assistance you need to complete your course.

The team can provide:

  • Learning Facilitators offering small group support 
  • Specialist equipment, adapted materials, and other resources
  • Special exam arrangements if required
  • Support with accessing the college
  • Hearing and autistic support specialists

Post-16 Travel Assistance:

Students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who require transport to and from college are advised to contact the college directly for further information.
