Service description:

Northampton College is a Further Education (FE) provider. Based at three campuses within Northamptonshire - Booth Lane, Lower Mounts and Daventry - the College is proud to welcome everyone, regardless of background or starting point. There is a variety of full-time and part-time study options available, from foundation programmes and Level 1 courses, to Level 2 and Level 3 study programmes. It also offers provision for Higher Education, maths and English, professional programmesand apprenticeships.


High Needs Provision:

In 2018, Ofsted rated the College's High Needs provision as Outstanding. This team includes an Additional Learning Support (ALS) department, staffed with multi-disciplinary specialists to support with learning needs.

Post-16 Travel:

Those students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who require transport to and from college are advised to contact the college directly for further information. Any eligibility for transport for those with SEND will be in accordance with Northamptonshire County Council's Post-16 Travel Policy.

Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and Higher Education (HE):

Those with an EHCP that are planning to study a HE course at the college, should be aware that their EHCP will cease once they begin their HE studies.
