Time to Talk offers free services to young people between the ages of 13 to 25, (18 for those without SEND) in the Daventry and South Northamptonshire area. All services are free-of-charge.
Counselling is by appointment only and can be accessed by phoning. Therapeutic counselling is available by appointment for those aged 12-19. Therapy is offered for up to age 25 when the young person has a special educational need or disability. Those requesting counselling support must do so with informed consent and want to access the service of their own choice. Young people aged 19 and above, with no special educational needs will be signposted to adult services for mental health support and counselling.
General drop-in services are available for those aged 13-25. (please check opening times during any coronavirus threats) These include:
- Access to free condoms
- Pregnancy testing
- Chlamydia screening
- Foodbank referrals
- Needle exchange
Time2Talk also provide information on numerous subjects including drugs and alcohol.
Please be aware that whilst you may leave a message on the answer phone or text service at any time, there is no emergency service available or telephone counselling.
Time2Talk can provide up-to-date information on many subjects including drugs and alcohol, smoking cessation (where to go for help), and bullying (how to deal with it).
