Proposed new primary school at Towcester

A new two form entry primary school is due to be built on the Sustainable Urban Extension (SUE) in Towcester for children aged 4 to 11 years.

The school is part of the requirements of the Section 106 infrastructure for the SUE and is being built to serve the local community. It is expected to open in September 2021, in a phased manner, initially with one class of Reception age children and grow organically until it reaches the maximum capacity of 420 pupils.

Northamptonshire County Council are now seeking applications from DfE approved sponsors to run the school, in line with the DfE Free School Presumption process. We would welcome interest from sponsors who have a track record of delivering the highest standards of education, to ensure children have access to the best teaching provision possible.
