A process of consultation and audit can be commissioned through the school’s existing SLA with their Educational Psychology Service to develop mental health provision in the school.
An educational psychologist can work with school staff to identify areas of strength and those that could be developed to further support the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people, school staff and the wider school community.
Findings from this process then feed into a bespoke co-produced action plan which the school would implement; with support, review and evaluation from their Educational Psychology Service, as needed. By developing mental health provision in this way, schools can apply for and achieve TaMHS Accreditation.
