Service description:
Who do we help?
We work to promote positive child development and learning through the application of psychology – the study of the mind and learning, human behaviour and relationships.
We help children and young people overcome barriers to successful learning.
These barriers might arise from:
-learning difficulties and special educational needs (SEN)
-behavioural, social or emotional needs
-physical, medical or sensory needs
How might we become involved?
We may be contacted for help and advice by:
- a school or early years setting
- a parent
- a health professional
- an additional needs teacher
- a pre-school teacher
- a social worker
- other professionals working with children
We will offer consultation on concerns raised and agree an action plan.
If the concern is about a child, parental permission must have been sought before we can become involved.
