Service description:
The Northants RoADAR Advanced Drivers and Riders, is affiliated to RoSPA and was formed to offer FREE training, support and advice to drivers who want to improve their driving and optionally take the Advanced Driving Test. Our aim is the reduction of traffic accidents by encouraging interest in road safety, by improving driving standards, knowledge and skill.
Training to pass the Advanced Driving Test is carried by one of the Group's qualified tutors who will conduct training sessions in the associate’s own car. These sessions initially last 1 hour and are carried out at times convenient to both the tutor and associate.
Being a good driver means that you never stop learning. Improving you're driving skills and becoming an advanced driver will not only make you safer but you will enjoy your driving more. Becoming a better driver involves reviewing and adapting you're driving skills to keep pace with ever changing road and traffic conditions. It is not simply the speed of your reactions that determines whether you are a safe driver but your ability to identify and respond effectively to hazards.
RoSPA Advanced Drivers' and Riders (RoADAR) is a section of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) one of the foremost safety advisory and training organisations in the world.
