Purpose of the role

To assist the Reception Centre Manager in the running of the Centre for people who are affected by an emergency or incident.

 

What tasks may be involved?

  • Communicate with the various multi-agencies and organisations involved with the Reception Centre
  • Communicate with people who are using the Centre and those affected by the emergency
  • Assisting people with issues and other welfare needs
  • Assisting with the effective running of the Reception Centre

What qualities or skills would be useful?

  • Good communication skills
  • A willingness to support and assist others
  • Able to work in a busy environment

What would the benefits be for me?
