Purpose of the role

Feeding volunteers will assist with the emergency feeding arrangements and work with voluntary organisations such as WRVS, Salvation Army.

 

What tasks may be involved?

  • Work with other volunteers and voluntary organisations.
  • Attend regular feeding group meetings with other volunteers to discuss arrangements.
  • Attend incidents and exercises.

What qualities or skills would be useful?

  • Good communication skills
  • A willingness to support and assist others

What would the benefits be for me?

  • Being part of a call out cascade system and participate in the event of a major incident within your community.
  • Undertaking training and have an ability and willingness to undertake a minimum of 3 days continuation training within the first 18 months of membership.
  • Ensuring that your contact details are kept up to date on the Northamptonshire County Council database.
