Our staff are making a difference to local children, young people and families. We are on an improvement journey and we want you to be part of it.

In Northamptonshire we are working closely with our Commissioners, the Department for Education and our committed leadership team to establish Northamptonshire's new Children's Trust which will be launching in summer 2020.

Our Chair and interim Chief Executive have been appointed to continue the work to launch the Children's Trust later this year.

The Trust will:

  • aspire to deliver outstanding social care services for children and young people in Northamptonshire
  • create an environment that enables and supports staff to be innovative and creative
  • aim to become a centre of social work excellence where outcomes for improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people are achieved

We have a new career and pay structure for qualified social workers to enable candidates to join us, grow with us; enhancing skills, experience and careers whilst providing good practice to enhance the lives of children across the county.
