Coronavirus update - Libraries phased reopening
Following Government guidance libraries can now reopen. The normal range of activities will not be possible at this stage of reopening and customers visiting the library may find they need to wait outside to be assisted by staff.
Please note that you need to book a 45 minute timeslot to use a library computer.

Northamptonshire libraries have computers with broadband internet access available for you to use. Please refer to our list of libraries webpage to confirm if your local library is currently open and to check its opening hours.
Face coverings and track and trace requirements
The Government has extended the policy on the mandatory wearing of face coverings in public places in England to include public libraries. They are to be worn by all visitors, except for those who have an age, health or disability reason for not wearing a face covering.
it is also mandatory for library staff to ask customers to leave their details when entering library buildings for computer use and booked browsing. Customers, who have downloaded the NHS Test and Trace app, can scan the QR code provided on posters that are on display near library entrances.
On every Friday in every library, computers are free to use for all. Standard printing charges still apply. You will need to book a 45 minute timeslot

Printing from the library computers and photocopying is available in all libraries apart from:

Do I have to book a computer?
- We advise you to pre-book a computer whenever possible.
- Library members can book a computer up to 7 days in advance using the 'Book a Computer' icon on any library computer desktop.
Wi-Fi access in libraries
The following libraries offer free wi-fi access:
