Coronavirus update - Libraries phased reopening

Following Government guidance libraries can now reopen. The normal range of activities will not be possible at this stage of reopening and customers visiting the library may find they need to wait outside to be assisted by staff.

Please check the latest information including which libraries have re-opened, opening hours and services available:

Unfortunately, due to the current closure of the Corby Cube, we are unable to re-open Corby Library as planned. However, a select and collect lending service is now available and customers will also be able to return books. Both these services are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am - 4pm by appointment only. For more information and to book an appointment slot please email corlib@firstforwellbeing.co.uk.

The closure of the building is being regularly reviewed by Corby Borough Council and we hope to be able to re-open the library soon.

Get involved!

There's more to the library than you think. Lots of our services for the community rely on support from our volunteers. What could you do?

How do you become a volunteer?

Search the Get Involved Hub for all current library volunteering vacancies.

You can apply online to register your interest in an opportunity. There is an interview process and all successful volunteers will be asked to supply details of referees. Volunteers for some roles are subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

We will provide any training that is necessary to assist in volunteering roles.

Answers Plus
